Whether you are visiting Barcelona or where you live, some places are worth visiting and you must visit them!
 Not only museums to discover: parks, squares, markets, Barcelona offers a multitude of places more impressive than the others.
We propose to you today, the emblematic places of Barcelona, which you must visit!

The Sagrada Familia

Unsurprisingly, the Sagrada Familia is one of the most emblematic places in Barcelona. One of Gaudi’s most famous and impressive works, the Sagrada Familia is a must-see for anyone who wants to visit the city properly.

Its construction began in 1882 and is still not finished today … However, you will not be disappointed by its bold architecture and its imposing size.
You can visit it from the inside but know that the place is very busy and that the wait may be long …

To get there you can take the metro, line L2 and L5 will take you there. You can also take the bus, many lines serve the place. Count around 15 € to be able to visit the interior, you can also book online and buy the tickets.

La Rambla and the Boqueria Market

Barcelona’s iconic avenue, bustling and littered with restaurants, cafes, bakeries and other souvenir shops. La Rambla connects Plaça Catalunya with the old port.
In addition to the shops, you will find many street artists ready to entertain you! Finally, to conclude this avenue, you must stop at the Boqueria market.

A true paradise for lovers of delicacies! Fruit stalls endlessly, the same for sweets. You can enjoy many meals and fruit juices. An impressive amount of choice, there is something for everyone.

Amateur salty do not have fears, you can enjoy with many tapas, ham and other pleasures. You can even have lunch in small restaurants/tapas bars inside the market!

Finally, the Boqueria is above all a market, so you can buy your vegetables, meats, and cheeses. A huge fish market is also located, offering a wide choice of fish, seafood, and shellfish.

To get there you have to take the metro line L3, know that the market every day from 8h to 20h, except Sunday when it is closed. It is the place to visit for gourmands of all kinds.

Plaça Catalunya

Located in the heart of the city, Plaça Catalunya connects the vibrant Eixample district with the old town. It is the most central place in Barcelona, a place of movement and passage. You must go there to realize its immensity and the constant lookout for passers-by.

To get there you can take a wide choice of subway and bus lines, the place is a real crossing point. The train is also accessible from the square.

Guell Park

If you want to escape from the city and take the time to relax, go to Parc Guëll! Another work of Gaudi, you will have something to eat in terms of architecture.

Passeig de Gracia

Shopping lovers, art lovers, gourmands? Passeig de Gracia offers you all at the same time!
Many shops to satisfy the needs of compulsive shopping, restaurants to be able to eat between two shops and emblematic works of Gaudi, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera to complete the whole!
Passeig de Gracia is a real artery of the city, it is served by metro lines L2, L3 and L4 and is accessible by bus. You can also take the train from there.

Plaça Espanya

Metro, bus, and trains serve the place. It is an emblematic place of the city and you must visit it!

Montjuic

Overlooking the city, the hill of Montjuic offers a breathtaking view of all Barcelona!
In addition to the impressive view, you can admire the famous Fountains of Montjuic but also visit the Miro Foundation (former bullring) and the Art Museum of Catalonia.

To get there you can take the metro (line L1, L3, and L8) or take the cable car for an even more impressive ride!

Barceloneta

Finally, you must go through Barceloneta, to enjoy the sea and the Catalan sun! Walk along the most famous beach in the city, sit on a terrace for dinner facing the sea and watch a sumptuous sunset.

It is also here that gather many clubs, ideal for party animals! The nightlife is very active, especially in summer. Some clubs even have a terrace overlooking the beach, ideal for a relaxing break.

To get there you have to take the L4 metro line, many buses also serve the place.
